Sea Pines Plantation

Located on the southern most tip of Hilton Head Island, Sea Pines Plantation is the Island's first address, founded in 1956. Sea Pines features 5,000 acres of Lowcountry charm including a 400-acre nature preserve with nature trails and over 5 miles of pristine beaches. Over the years, Sea Pines has become the standard of measurement for developing a community that can coexist with its natural surroundings while offering the vacationer all of the luxuries that Hilton Head Island is famous for.

As you are welcomed through the gates, you will be charmed by the natural beauty while at the same time you will have access to some of the finest golf and tennis. Sea Pines is home to 54 holes of golf, including Harbour Town Golf Links, Hilton Head's most famous course. Each April Harbour Town is the host of the nationally televised PGA Verizon Heritage tournament. The Sea Marsh Course and the Ocean Course are both bird sanctuaries with breathtaking vistas. The Sea Pines Racquet Club has 23 clay courts and has hosted many of America's most prestigious tennis tournaments including for many years the Family Circle Cup.

No visit to the island is complete with out a stop at its most famous landmark; the candy cane striped Harbour Town Lighthouse. Sea Pines also offers residents access to fitness centers, swimming pools, riding stables and beach clubs. Of course, every type of water sport is available from boat rentals to kayak instruction to waterway nature tours and fishing.

There are two very distinct marinas, Harbour Town and South Beach, where you will find everything from boating and fishing, to wave runners and parasailing, dolphin tours and dinner cruises, not to mention the spectacular sunsets. Harbour Town Yacht Basin is where you can find more than 20 shops offering art, jewelry, clothing and unique boutique items, plus great dining. South Beach a quaint New England-style village offers everything from fishing to kayaking with playful dolphins. Stroll through shops, enjoy seafood at any of the marina restaurants, and then relax at the "Salty Dog Cafe" and listen to a musician, while presented an unforgettable sunset.
