Palmetto Dunes is 2,000 acres of unrivaled beauty! This private oceanfront community on Hilton Head Island enjoys the reputation of having something for everyone's vacation desires. The challenging Arthur Hills Golf Course is its centerpiece but there is also a recreational center with pool, baby pool, pavilion, and boat dock on the lagoon system as well as a Beach Pavilion providing residents direct access to the Atlantic Ocean. Directly across from the Palmetto Dunes entrance, you will find Shelter Cove Marina. Lined with quaint shops and great restaurants, the marina is a popular gathering place for families and couples alike. During the summer months the air fills with music and on Tuesdays the harbor's sky lights up with an exciting fireworks display.
